Enabling Partners to Assess Marketing Practices

CLIENT

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a global, edge-to-cloud Platform-as-a-Service company headquartered in California, USA. HPE is a business-focused organization with two divisions, one catering to Enterprises and another offering Financial Services. HPE’s business combines consulting, platforms and services in dozens of areas, including computing, servers, hybrid cloud storage, networking, communications & media solutions, network security, high-performance computing and investment strategies. HPE is a market leader with annual revenues of around $30 billion.

REQUIREMENT

In a complex world, the sum of the parts constitutes more than the whole, a key reason behind HPE’s thought of the development of a Digital Marketing Maturity Model. The planet turning digital, new orbits of digital efficacy was required. In other words, a digital orchestra with channel partners roped in to help them assess their digital marketing practices became an imperative. HPE Marketing Pro Assessment, a part of HPE Marketing Pro was to be devised. StratAgile took the challenge head-on.

RESULT

More than 3000 partners carried out the Assessment amounting to 60% of top partner base of HPE. The Assessment, developed by StratAgile, enabled partners to have an enhanced understanding of their competency in digital marketing. With a structured online survey and an assessment framework, personalised reports were provided. Steps to be scaled for improvement were furbished. A highly structured and well-ordered process took stock of Digital Identity, organisational commitment, analytical framework, CRM as well as campaign planning and execution. To its credit, StratAgile won the Sirius Decisions Award 2019 for channel marketing initiatives for the development and implementation of this model.
